Biodiversity and grounds

Whilst on campus, take
some time to explore and relax

On campus, we have a variety of photogenic ‘green spaces’ including our woodland trail, our famous wildflower beds, orchards, and our own sustainability garden where we grow edible produce.

We have an ambition to further increase biodiversity on site and if you would like to volunteer to help us – please contact us for opportunities available.

We are always open to photo submissions of flora and fauna on campus, and run annual competitions. You can tag us in your on campus photos on social media.

We have created a new walking trail within our woodland area. Behind Handley Page Close, a new bridge has also been installed, connecting the sports field (behind Fedden House) to the woodland.

This provides the perfect opportunity for staff and students to enjoy a peaceful, relaxing walk during their free time and reconnect with nature.

The walk takes approximately 25 minutes to complete.
